Sophie loves performing for children and has a background in children's theatre. Highlights include devising and performing in the highly acclaimed show Rumplestilts, Tim Brey's Pippi Long Stocking and touring a physical theatre show Spinning Tales to Auckland primary schools. Sophie also ran a school holiday programme at the Auckland Art Gallery, teaching children to interpret art and create stories.
Sophie has worked consistently in television and theatre since graduating from UNITEC drama school in 2007. She has performed in numerous New Zealand stage productions including Silo Theatre's The Little Dog Laughed, The Scene, and The Ensemble Project, and Auckland Theatre Company's Who Needs Sleep Anyway. Sophie has also featured in television shows Outrageous Fortune, Jacquie Brown Diaries, Legend of the Seeker and The Cult.
Sophie won a 2009 Metro Award for Best Actress for her work in The Scene.
